You have a computer that is running Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009. You use the Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) adapter to receive documents from a source document library and copy these files to a destination document library. In the destination document library, you find that some properties are not visible for the copied documents. For example, the document type field is blank. However, the document type field is displayed correctly after the SharePoint Search Service runs.
This problem occurs because the WSS adapter uses the wrong method to copy documents. This method moves the document content. However, it does not move the list properties that are associated with the document.
