SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
4.0. You create subject A and subject B. Then, you set subject A as the parent
subject of subject B. Next, you delete subject A. In this scenario, the link
between subject A and subject B is not deleted. Similarly, if you try to remove
a relationship between two entities that have the same type, such as accounts,
the relationship is not removed. You will receive the following error in the CRM platform trace: Crm Exception: Message: The value of Primary Key Attribute: customerrelationshipid is not set, ErrorCode:-2147220989, InneException:System.ArgumentException: The value of Pimary Key Attribute: customerrelationshipid is not set Error: Exception had been thrown by the target of an invocation. Error Number: 0x80040203 Error Message: The value of Primary Key Attribute: customerrelationshipid is not set Error Details: The value of Primary Key Attribute: customerrelationshipid is not set Source File: Not available Line Number: Not available Request URL: http://localhostvo-slsx/sfa/customerrelationships/edit.aspx?id={FD487E19-B9E1-DE11-9456-00101858BE92}&_CreateFromType=1&_CreateFromId={B54DCA9C-12E1-DE11-9456-00101858BE92} Stack Trace Info: [ArgumentException: The value of Primary Key Attribute: customerrelationshipid is not set] You may also receive one of the following Event Viewer errors: Error: Deletion Service failed to clean up table=WorkflowBase or Error: Deletion Service failed to clean up table=ContactBase RESOLUTIONThis problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup
