Incompatibility between the Live Meeting 2007 console and the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi software

SYMPTOMS

There is an incompatibility between the Live Meeting 2007 console and the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi software. When both the Live Meeting 2007 console and the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi software are present on the same client computer, the Live Meeting console freezes instead of connecting to the meeting after it is started.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, un-install the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi software. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Uninstall a program.
  2. Click the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi software in the list, and then click Uninstall.
  3. Follow the steps in the uninstallation wizard to uninstall the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi software.
Note If the Intel PROSet/Wireless Wi-Fi software is removed, the Live Meeting console connects to the meeting after it is started.
