Introduction

This article discusses an update package for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2. After you apply this update package, the Ask questions and the Chat options are disabled in the Attendee Permissions dialog box in Live Meeting 2007. Therefore, the Live Meeting organizer cannot change the Ask questions and the Chat options.

After you apply this update package, locate the DataMCUSvc.exe.config configuration file at the following location on Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Web Conferencing Server:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2\Web Conferencing

Verify that the following change was made in the DataMCUSvc.exe.config file :
