Introduction

Windows update for time zones in December 2009 changes the time zone data to accommodate daylight saving time (DST) changes in several countries. If you want to update the time zones that you currently use in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, you must apply the following two hotfixes:
977731 Description of the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 hotfix package (Sts-x-none.msp, Wssmui-en-us.msp): February 23, 2010
978389 Description of the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Cumulative Update server hotfix package (Sts-x-none.msp): February 23, 2010
