This article describes some nonblocking logo certification issues that occur when you run test cases for Windows Server 2008 R2 on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed.
Note SQL Server 2008 SP1 is logo certified for Windows Server 2008 R2. These nonblocking logo certification issues were fixed in Cumulative update package 7 for SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1. Known nonblocking issues
Test case 1.1: Windows installation packages must not receive any errors from the Internal Consistency Evaluators (ICEs)The Trin_aide.msi file contains Visual Studio files. You receive ICE18 and ICE69 errors if you run this test case for this file. These errors will not cause any issues during an installation operation or an uninstallation operation.
Test case 1.2: Is the package identity configured correctly?The Owc11.msi file is an external legacy package for Microsoft Office 2003. Therefore, you will fail on this test case.
