This article describes a hotfix package for March 2010 that contains the latest hotfixes for Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) 4.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
Note We recommend that you test hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the hotfix releases are cumulative, each new hotfix release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous update package. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release.
This hotfix package addresses the following issues:
When you try to use the Microsoft Application Virtualization Server Management Console to remove group assignments for an Active Directory group that has already been deleted, the removal fails together with the 0000B004 error code.
Under certain heavy load situations, the App-V Management Server stops responding and does not accept new client connections. Additionally, the following error message is logged in the Server log:
“41509 Failed to dispatch request to core process”
Note You have to restart the computer to recover from this issue.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites
To apply this hotfix, you must have Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) 4.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed.
Installation instructions
Make sure that you install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1) before you install this hotfix on a computer that hosts the Microsoft Application Virtualization Server Management Console.
Note
If Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 is not installed, you may receive the following error when you use the Microsoft Application Virtualization Server Management Console to import a new package:
Unexpected error occurred. Please report the following error code to your system administrator. Error Code:0000C800
You must restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
