INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • On a computer that is running Microsoft Office 2003, you have 2007 Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 2 installed. You right-click a PowerPoint 2003 file which is in the .ppt format, and you select Save As from the popup menu. You try to save the file in the .pptx or the .pptm format. In this scenario, the operation is unsuccessful and you receive the following error message:
The converter failed to save the file.
  • You export a PowerPoint presentation to a graphic file that is in BMP or JPEG format in Office PowerPoint 2007. However, you find incorrect black lines on the right side and on the bottom of the graphic file that you exported.
  • During the slide show, changes to the background color of SlideMaster are unsuccessful for the current slide. However, the background color changes when you move to the next slide.
