SYMPTOMSWhen you try to use Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010 to open a Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Web site, you receive the following error message: The Web server at "Web site collection URL" does not appear to have Microsoft SharePoint Foundation installed. CAUSEThis problem occurs because client integration is disabled on the Web application on which the Web site collection resides. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, enable the client integration. To do this, follow these steps:
MORE INFORMATIONIf SharePoint Designer 2010 is already running when you enable client integration, you receive the following error message after you enable client integration: Microsoft SharePoint Designer does not support editing non-SharePoint sites.
Close and reopen the program and this error will be corrected.
