SYMPTOMS

You may experience that Microsoft Office Communicator no longer makes daily synchronize changes to its address book.

CAUSE

This issue occurs when an administrator manually updates the address book files on the Address Book server in a 24 hour time frame.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install Update Rollup for Office Communicator 2007 R2.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, delete the local client address book file.
Note This behavior causes Office Communicator to download the complete address book.
