SYMPTOMS

A field in a Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 Web site is ignored when you export the Web site. This problem occurs when the name of the field starts with the "Workflow" string.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Content Migration API that is used to export the Web site filters out any field whose name starts with the "Workflow" string.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do not use the "Workflow" string at the beginning of the name of a field in a SharePoint Server 2010 Web site.
