INTRODUCTION

This article describes the Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 issue that is fixed in the hotfix package that is dated June 9, 2009.

Issue that this hotfix fixes

Consider the following scenario. You apply security update 955466 that is documented in security bulletin MS08-057 on a computer that is running Microsoft Office Excel 2003. Then, you copy a chart from Office Excel 2003 and try to paste the chart into Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003. In this scenario, you find that the chart is not pasted.
