On This PageINTRODUCTIONThis article describes the Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 issue that is fixed in the hotfix package that is dated June 9, 2009. Issue that this hotfix fixesConsider the following scenario. You apply security update 955466 that is documented in security bulletin MS08-057 on a computer that is running Microsoft Office Excel 2003. Then, you copy a chart from Office Excel 2003 and try to paste the chart into Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003. In this scenario, you find that the chart is not pasted.MORE INFORMATIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
