INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

On a computer that is running Office SharePoint Server 2007, you receive the following warning message when you import user profiles from an Active Directory resource forest:
Some parts of this document cannot be accessed.
TThis issue occurs when the Unified Logging Service (ULS) logging or Event Viewer is enabled.
A SharePoint website that uses Traditional Chinese characters may experience problems when you search for non-East Asian characters.
When you create your personal website, the group names under My Links on your Profile page appear in another language if another user selected this other language and if this user visited the My Site website before you.
After you update the URL of a heading on a SharePoint Server 2007 site collection, you receive an error message that resembles the following when you try to save the changes:
The page has been modified by another author on date time.
When you have a RSS feed on a SharePoint Server 2007-published website, the displayed publication times for the RSS news are wrong. Therefore, RSS news appears together with a publication date that is several hours before or after the actual date.

Note The incorrect date might be a future date that is beyond the current date.
If you add a scope rule to a filter on the managed property of an Integer data type, the item count column for the new scope rule contains the word "error" instead of the number of the items that match this rule.
The target audience of a SharePoint Server 2007 object is not resolved correctly when one target audience name is a prefix of another.
When the Microsoft Office Word 2007 documents that contain some mailto: links are converted in SharePoint Server 2007, the links are removed and displayed in only the underlining style.
