Description of the Microsoft Windows registry SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. On a Microsoft Windows Vista-based computer, you redirect folder A to the same location as non-redirectable folder B. In this scenario, you experience the following problems:
CAUSEThis problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
RESOLUTIONWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. To resolve this problem, separate the folders in the registry, and then move the data that you want to the new folders. For example, if you want to separate the Music folder and the Pictures folder, follow these steps:
