SYMPTOMSWhen you try to upgrade a computer from Microsoft Windows XP to Windows Vista, you receive the following error message in the compatibility report, and you cannot upgrade Windows: You must first uninstall Sonic DLA Note This problem occurs even though you do not have Sonic DLA installed. This problem also occurs even though Sonic DLA does not appear when you double-click the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel. CAUSEThis problem occurs because IBM DLA is installed. Note Sonic DLA has been renamed "IBM DLA." IBM DLA is incompatible with Windows Vista. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem in Windows XP, uninstall IBM DLA. To do this, follow these steps:
