RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, change the computer so that it is a member of a workgroup. This change will disjoin the Windows Vista Home Premium-based computer from the domain. To do this, follow these steps. Note We recommend that you have a local administrator user account and a password that you can use to log on to the computer. Then, you can change the computer so that it is a member of a workgroup.
MORE INFORMATIONA Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004-based computer that is joined to a domain must not be upgraded to Windows Vista Home Premium. The Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004-based computer must be disjoined from the domain before you upgrade the computer to Windows Vista Home Premium. The Parental Control feature is disabled on the Windows Vista-based computer if the computer is joined to the domain. This behavior is by design.
