However, you can save files that are associated with your roaming profile to the correct directory on the server. Note The Profile Quota Manager tool is invoked by the Limit Profile Size policy. CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Profile Quota Manager tool in Windows Vista incorrectly includes temporary index files for the user's registry when it calculates the total folder size. These temporary files are located in the user's profile root folder. However, these files are not used for the roaming profile. RESOLUTIONYou can safely ignore this warning. The warning is incorrect. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. MORE INFORMATIONIn Windows Vista, the Profile Quota Manager tool is a monitoring tool only. The Profile service performs the actual quota check. This service accurately calculates the profile size.
