Note To successfully activate Windows Vista, you must use the product key for the version of Windows Vista that is installed. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Restore the computer to its original state, and then upgrade the computerIf you cannot activate Windows Vista, restore the computer to its original state. After you restore the computer to its original state, you can upgrade the computer.
