SYMPTOMS

On a Japanese version of Windows Vista, Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center are not titled correctly in Windows Mixer. For example, part of the "W" character in "Windows" is missing or truncated.

Note Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center do not appear in Windows Mixer unless they are running.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
