On a Windows Vista-based computer, a picture thumbnail still appears in the Picture Library after you delete the picture

On a Windows Vista-based computer, you delete a picture in the Picture Library in Windows Media Center. The picture thumbnail still appears in the Picture Library. The picture thumbnail appears in the Picture Library until you exit and then return to the Picture Library.

To work around this behavior, use one of the following methods:

• Click the Back button, and then open the Picture Library again.
• Restart Windows Media Center.
