A computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista may restart repeatedly with different Stop error codes when multicast forwarding is enabled
You have a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 or
Windows Vista.
Multicast forwarding is enabled.
In this scenario, the system may restart repeatedly with
different Stop error codes, such as 0x0000001E or 0x000000D1. Or, the system may stop
responding. This problem does not occur if you disable multicast
forwarding.
This problem occurs because the TCP/IP component tries to
change the timer queue while while the TCP/IP component holds a read-only lock. However, the TCP/IP component must obtain a write lock. Because
the TCP/IP component does not obtain a write lock, the queue becomes
corrupted.
