SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • On a Windows Vista-based computer, the screen resolution for the LCD screen is set to 1280 × 800 pixels.
  • You run Windows Media Player in full-screen mode.
  • You switch to TV mode.
In this scenario, the screen may become black.

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. On a Windows Vista-based computer, start Windows Media Player, and then switch Windows Media Player to full-screen mode.
  2. Connect to a TV by using an S-Video connection.
  3. Switch to TV mode.
