Xbox 360 or Windows 2000 Server-based computers may not read
CD-R discs that are
burned in Windows Vista.
This problem occurs because the version of the Universal
Disk Format (UDF) that Windows Vista uses to format CD-R discs is incompatible
with Xbox 360 and with Windows 2000 Server-based computers.
To resolve this problem, burn
a new CD-R disc. Use the Mastered option when you burn the CD-R disc.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Insert a blank CD-R into an RW drive in Windows
Vista.
- In
the AutoPlay dialog box, click
Burn files to disc.
- Click Show formatting options, click to
select Mastered, and then click
Next.
- Drag the
files to the Explorer
window, and then click Burn to
disc.
- In the Burn To Disc wizard, type the name
of the disc in the Disc title box, and then click
Next.
- Click Finish.
