SYMPTOMS

On a computer that is running Windows Vista, some Help topics in Windows Help and Support include hyperlinks. When you click the hyperlinks, additional text is displayed. For example, the additional text may be the definition of a term or the reason for an error that the user encounters. However, Microsoft Narrator does not read the additional text after you click the hyperlinks.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. To make sure that all the text is displayed, click Show All in the Help topic.
  2. To make Narrator read the whole Help topic again, press CTRL+SHIFT+SPACEBAR.
