When you use Windows Media Center to tune to FM stations in Brazil, you receive only static noise on a computer that is running Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate

On a computer that is running Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate, you try to use Windows Media Center to tune to FM stations in Brazil. However, you receive only static noise.

In Brazil, all FM stations are odd-numbered stations. However, Windows Media Center can tune only to even-numbered stations when Windows Media Center is set for the regions in Brazil. Therefore, you cannot receive the FM signal.

A hotfix is available to change how Windows Media Center tunes to FM stations in Brazil.

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
