SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You are running a Windows Vista-based computer that has the Lzhfldr.dll file installed.
  • In Windows Explorer, you double-click an .lzh file to open the associated compressed file.
  • You drag the compressed file into a folder in the Folders pane of the same Windows Explorer window.
In this scenario, Windows Explorer exits unexpectedly. After you restart Windows Explorer, you notice that there is a new file in the destination folder. However, the file has a size of zero bytes.

Note This issue does not occur if you drag the compressed file into another Windows Explorer window or onto the desktop.
