When a print job is printed successfully on a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows XP Service Pack 2-based computer, the "Print Complete" sound is not played.
Note The "Print Complete" sound is specified in the
Sound Control Panel item.
To work around this problem, view the successful print job message in the notification area to determine whether a print job is printed successfully.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
