When you attempt to run the Spell Checker, you may receive the following
error message:
Publisher cannot load the speller or dictionary to install
the Spell Checker and Hyphenation. For more information on
running Setup, press F1 now.
CAUSE
This problem may occur for either of the following reasons:
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, use either of the following methods.
Method 1: Corrupted Custom.dic File
Method 2: Incorrect or Missing Registry KeyWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.If you suspect that the problem is related to incorrect registry settings, use the following steps to edit the registry.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in
Microsoft Publisher 98.
