When you click Publish to Web or Publisher Web Site to Folder on the
File menu, you may receive the following error message:
Publisher cannot create your online document.
CAUSE
This error message occurs if your GIF import/export filter
(Gifimp32.flt) is missing, outdated, or corrupted. It may also occur
if the Windows Registry entries for the GIF import/export filter are
missing or corrupted.
RESOLUTION
You can determine whether the problem is caused by the filter file,
Gifimp32.flt, or by a problem with the Windows Registry by doing the
following:
To Replace Gifimp32.flt
To Remove the GIF Import Filter Registry EntriesWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys And Values" Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it. If you are running Windows NT, you should also update your Emergency Repair Disk (ERD).
