This article explains how to change the <TITLE> tag of a Web page created
with Microsoft Publisher. This can be done directly within Publisher
without using a text editor to modify the HTML source code of the web page.

When Publisher 97 creates a web site, the title of the site is the
name of the source .pub file.
To Rename the Web Page Title

appears in the title bar of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer also
uses the title of the web page to provide a default name for that web
site when you add it to your list of favorites. The title of a web
page can be edited in a text editor by viewing the HTML source code of
the web page. This article is provided as an alternative to editing
HTML source code. Microsoft Publisher does not provide technical
support for editing HTML source code.
