SUMMARY
If you have a Web server on which you want to create Active Server Pages
(ASP) files, the Web server must have installed support for Active
Server Pages.
To view Active Server Pages (ASP) files created in Microsoft Access 97 on Microsoft Windows 95 or Microsoft NT Workstation 4.0, you can install Microsoft Personal Web Server 4.0. NOTE: On a Microsoft Windows NT Server running Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), you must have version 3.0 or later in order to view ASP files. You can install these new versions from the Microsoft Windows NT Option Pack located on the Internet Information Server (IIS) home page on the Internet. For details on how to download the Microsoft Windows NT Option Pack, see the "More Information" section later in this article. NOTE: You do not have to download Microsoft Personal Web Server 4.0 for Windows 98. You can also install it from the following location on the Microsoft Windows 98 CD: \addons\pws\setup.exe MORE INFORMATION
Active Server Pages is a feature of IIS 4.0 on Microsoft Windows NT Server,
and on Personal Web Server 4.0 on Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft
Windows NT Workstation 4.0. Any of these versions can be installed by
downloading the Microsoft NT Option pack.
To download the required Web services version, follow these steps:
