Err Msg: Could Not Save This Message. Not Enough Memory

SYMPTOMS

When you send a message, you may receive the following error message:
Could not save this message. Not enough memory.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when the message contains an enclosure containing message text that has characters with accents or diacritical marks. Internet Mail and News versions 1.0 and 1.1 for Macintosh do not handle this kind of message correctly.

RESOLUTION

Remove the enclosure or remove the accented characters from the message text.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Mail and News versions 1.0 and 1.1 for Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
