SYMPTOMS

If you click the Surface/Restore Desktop icon on the taskbar to hide all open windows and then use the Hide All command in EzDesk, you may be unable to restore the open windows using the Surface/Restore Desktop icon on the taskbar.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Surface/Restore Desktop icon on the task- bar and the Hide All command in EzDesk are not completely compatible.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, use the Surface/Restore Desktop icon on the taskbar or the Hide All command in EzDesk to hide and restore open windows, but do not use both. If you have already used both and are unable to restore the open windows by clicking the Surface/Restore Desktop icon on the taskbar, follow these steps:
  1. Click the EzDesk icon on the taskbar, point to Desktop Windows, and then click Undo Hide All.
  2. Click the Surface/Restore Desktop icon to restore the open windows.
