Basic text searches of the Microsoft Knowledge Base
To search for Internet Explorer information by using a basic text search of the Knowledge Base,
follow these steps:
- Visit the following Microsoft Web site:
- In the Select a Microsoft Product box, click Internet Explorer.
- In the Search for box, type one or more query words that pertain to your issue.
- Click Go.
You see a list of articles that contain the query words that you typed. - View the article titles for topics that may apply to your issue,
and then click a title to view the full text of the article.
Advanced text searches of the Microsoft Knowledge Base
If a basic text search does not produce the results that you want, you may
