Basic text searches of the Microsoft Knowledge Base

To search for Internet Explorer information by using a basic text search of the Knowledge Base, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the following Microsoft Web site:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=FH;EN-US;KBHOWTO (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;en-us;kbhowto)
  2. In the Select a Microsoft Product box, click Internet Explorer.
  3. In the Search for box, type one or more query words that pertain to your issue.
  4. Click Go.

    You see a list of articles that contain the query words that you typed.
  5. View the article titles for topics that may apply to your issue, and then click a title to view the full text of the article.
