Font size change not saved in Internet Explorer 4.x

When you change the font size in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x by using the Fonts command on the View menu or the Fonts button on the toolbar and then restart Internet Explorer, the font size is reset.

To change the default font size in Internet Explorer:

1. On the View menu, click Internet Options.
2. On the General tab, click Fonts.
3. In the Font Size box, click the font size you want.
4. Click OK.
5. Click OK.

Unlike Internet Explorer versions 3.x and 5.x, you cannot change the default font size in Internet Explorer 4.x by using the Fonts command on the View menu or Fonts button on the toolbar.

NOTE: In Internet Explorer 5 the Fonts button is not available on the toolbar, but you can change the default font size for Internet Explorer 5 using the Text Size command on the View menu. You can only change the font face (not size) using Internet Options in Internet Explorer 5.x.
