SYMPTOMS

When you enable the "Stretch desktop wallpaper to fit the screen" option, the desktop wallpaper may not be stretched.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if Internet Explorer is installed on your computer and the Active Desktop is enabled.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, disable the Active Desktop. To do so, right- click an empty area on the desktop, point to Active Desktop, and then click View As Web Page.
