When you start Microsoft Outlook 97 you receive the following message
The Outllib.dll file is linked to missing export Mapi32.dll:36.
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
You need more memory or system resources. Close some windows and try again.
CAUSE
When you installed Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and Microsoft Outlook
Express, you selected the option to make Outlook Express the default
Simple MAPI client. NOTE: In some cases, a corrupt Mapi32.dll file has caused this problem. RESOLUTION
Do not use Outlook Express as your default Simple MAPI client.
- or - Find all instances of Mapi32.dll, rename each, and replace the Mapi32.dll file in your System folder. To Reset Your Default Simple MAPI Client
