Problems Running Agile Warrior F-IIIX in Windows 98

SYMPTOMS

When you run Agile Warrior F-IIIX and you click another screen on a computer using multiple monitors, or you press ALT+TAB to switch to another program, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
  • You may be unable to play Agile Warrior F-IIIX when you switch back to it.
  • You may receive the following error message:
    AW caused a divide error in module AW.BIN at <address>

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you are running Agile Warrior F-IIIX and another screen becomes the active screen or another program becomes the active program.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, do not click another screen or press ALT+TAB to switch to another program when you are running Agile Warrior F-IIIX.

When you run Agile Warrior F-IIIX in Windows 95, the game disables the ability to switch to another program. However, when you run Agile Warrior F-IIIX in Windows 98, you can press ALT+TAB to switch to another program and you can click another screen. When you switch to another program, Agile Warrior F-IIIX is no longer the active program. On a multiple monitor computer, the program is minimized and is no longer the active program when you click another screen.
