SYMPTOMS

In FrontPage Editor, when you point to Advanced on the Insert menu the Design-Time Control command is not available (dimmed).

CAUSE

You do not have a Design-Time Controls (DTC) installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION

Before you can use a DTC with FrontPage, you must first install one or more of them on your computer. The Design-Time Control command will be available once you have installed at least one DTC.

MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft Visual Interdev installs four Design-Time Controls:

   Data Command Control
   Data Range Footer Control
   Data Range Header Control
   Include Control

Any additional Design-Time Controls you install on your computer will be available for use in FrontPage.
