you may receive one of the following error messages:
There is not enough memory to run PowerPoint. Increase the memory size
with Get Info.
-or-
The application "Microsoft PowerPoint" has unexpectedly quit because an
error of type 25 occurred.
CAUSE
The PP Translator 8-4 program does not have enough memory assigned to it to
translate the presentation. By default, the preferred size is set to 4000 K. If
you are attempting to translate a large PowerPoint presentation, 4000 K may not
provide enough memory.
NOTE: If virtual memory is turned on, the default preferred memory size is 4000 K. If virtual memory is turned off, the default preferred memory size is 5739 K. RESOLUTION

MORE INFORMATION
The PP Translator 8-4 translates PowerPoint 98 presentations to PowerPoint 4.0
format. This translator is an application program. In contrast, the other two
PowerPoint translators (PP Translator 4-8 and PP Translator 7-8) are libraries,
not application programs. Therefore, these translators use memory assigned to
PowerPoint when translating.
