"Office" Value Does Not Display in Windows Address Book

SYMPTOMS

The Windows Address Book does not display the Office location of a member from a membership store, even though the member object has the attribute value set.

CAUSE

Queries to the member attribute "physicalDeliveryOfficeName" are not returned by the membership LDAP server when queried for by the Windows Address Book.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Site Server version 3.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Site Server version 3.0 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
