SYMPTOMS

If you have a WebProject open in Visual InterDev 1.0, you may encounter the error listed below in Commerce Server 3.0 sites residing on the same server. The error is related to the current system locale and is generated by a call to Datafunctions.Money. The error as it appears on a server using the German (Standard) locale is as follows:

Commerce.DataFunctions error '80004005'
Invalid locale argument
/market/partenum.asp, line 95

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Site Server version 3.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. service pack for Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. For Information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
