SYMPTOMS

WebAdmin does not display members that have userCertificate attributes set. However, the same users are viewable through the Windows Address Book.

CAUSE

FastADS does not support the "BINARY" type for a variant [ASCII 160]. As a result, it returns an Invalid Type error when it encounters an entry with a userCertificate. WebAdmin does not handle this error, so no users are displayed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.
