Problems with PMAdmin-Enabled LDAP Dynamic Data Replication

SYMPTOMS

If you use the "PMAdmin set LDAP /dynamicdata:Yes" command to enable LDAP Dynamic Data replication, you may notice inconsistencies between the LDAP servers' dynamic data.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the latest Site Server 3.0 service pack.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) to enable Dynamic Data replication. This can be done through the LDAP properties page, using the Dynamic Data tab.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Site Server version 3.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. service pack for Microsoft Site Server version 3.0.
