FrontPage Express Lists Several File Types in Open Dialog Box| Article ID | : | 189385 | | Last Review | : | February 22, 2007 | | Revision | : | 3.2 |
This article was previously published under Q189385 SYMPTOMS
When you use the Open dialog box to open a file in Microsoft FrontPage
Express, there is a Files Of Type box that lists various file types. If
you try to open a file type other than HTML or text, the file is not
opened correctly and cannot be used.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because FrontPage Express lists the file types for
all the text converters installed on your computer, even though FrontPage
Express cannot actually start these converters to convert the text.
