When you try to use a shortcut key combination assigned to any desktop
shortcut for an MS-DOS-based program, the shortcut key combination may not
function (nothing happens).
CAUSE
This issue can occur for the following reasons:
Windows 98 or Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 4 InstalledThis feature is no longer available.Windows 95This may occur if you have not restarted your computer.RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue in Windows 95, either restart your computer, or move
or copy the desktop shortcut to the Programs folder. To move or copy the
shortcut, follow these steps:
