SYMPTOMS

When you try to view a subscription while offline, you may not be able to view to the "Levels Deep" setting you chose when you created your subscription. For example, you may have configured a subscription to be viewed five levels deep, but only be able to view the first or second level while offline.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use either of the following methods:

Method 1

Connect to the Internet to view the missing content while online.

Method 2

Decrease the number of levels deep to view offline:

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Organize Favorites on the Favorites menu, and then click the Offline tab.
  2. Double-click the Subscription icon next to the appropriate Web address. Note that this icon may look like a folded newspaper or a four-pointed star.
  3. Click the Offline tab, click Options, change the Levels Deep setting to one 1 or 2, and then click OK.
