If you use a 16-bit version of Netscape Navigator 3.0 to view a FrontPage
disk-based web, the page banner will appear as a broken link icon.
CAUSE
The 16-bit version of Netscape Navigator does not support long file names.
The file name used for the FrontPage page banner is created as a long file
name, not as an 8.3 MS-DOS file name. It is derived from a combination of the file name of the page and the file name of the image used by the page banner.
RESOLUTION
To view the page banner in a 16-bit version of Netscape Navigator, publish
the Web to a Web server. To do this, follow these steps:
