XL2000: "Problems Came Up in the Following Areas During Load..." Error Exporting Spreadsheet or PivotTable to Excel

When you click Export to Excel on the Microsoft Office Spreadsheet toolbar, you receive an error message similar to the following: When you click OK, Microsoft Excel loads the spreadsheet, but without some of the formatting that was applied in the spreadsheet control.

When you click Export to Excel on the Microsoft Office PivotTable toolbar you receive an error message similar to the following: When you click OK, Microsoft Excel loads the PivotTable, but without some of the formatting that was applied in the PivotTable list control.

These problems occur when you use a number format in your Office Spreadsheet or PivotTable list that Microsoft Excel does not support.

To work around this problem, you must only use number formats that are compatible with Excel.
