In Microsoft Excel, when you undo a cut and paste operation, or redo a cut and paste operation, one or more formulas may show an incorrect value.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you do the following:
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, reselect the 3-D reference that the formula refers to before you undo or redo the paste operation.
For example, with the following formula
=SUM('Sheet1:Sheet3'!$A$1)
if you cut the range $A$1 in sheets 1 through 3 and then paste into a new range, reselect $A$1 in sheets 1 through 3 before you undo this paste operation.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
