XL2000: Incorrect 3-D Formula Reference After Undo or Redo Paste

In Microsoft Excel, when you undo a cut and paste operation, or redo a cut and paste operation, one or more formulas may show an incorrect value.

This behavior occurs when you do the following:

1. Cut a 3-D reference.Paste the cells in a new location.Cancel selection of the 3-D reference.Undo the paste operation.
2. Paste the cells in a new location.Cancel selection of the 3-D reference.Undo the paste operation.
3. Cancel selection of the 3-D reference.Undo the paste operation.
4. Undo the paste operation.

1. Cut a 3-D referencePaste the 3-D reference in a new location.Undo the paste operation.Cancel the selection of the 3-D reference.Redo the paste operation.
2. Paste the 3-D reference in a new location.Undo the paste operation.Cancel the selection of the 3-D reference.Redo the paste operation.
3. Undo the paste operation.Cancel the selection of the 3-D reference.Redo the paste operation.
4. Cancel the selection of the 3-D reference.Redo the paste operation.
5. Redo the paste operation.

This behavior occurs because the formula is not updated to refer to the correct cells after completing the undo or redo operation.

To work around this behavior, reselect the 3-D reference that the formula refers to before you undo or redo the paste operation.

For example, with the following formula if you cut the range $A$1 in sheets 1 through 3 and then paste into a new range, reselect $A$1 in sheets 1 through 3 before you undo this paste operation.
